Grading
Reusable tyres are graded by remaining tread depth (for example a minimum in millimetres), age, absence of repairs, cuts or bulges, and sidewall condition. Casings for retreading are judged on structural integrity rather than tread.
Size mix
Agree the rim sizes and size distribution you need, for example a share of 14–16 inch passenger tyres or 22.5 inch truck tyres, and whether brands are mixed or selected.
Loading and compliance
Tyres are usually laced in 40-foot high-cube containers to maximise pieces per unit. Import rules for used tyres vary widely; check your country's requirements before ordering.
What to include in your RFQ
State type (passenger, truck, casings), grade, size mix, quantity in containers, destination, Incoterm and any inspection you require before loading.
